Het boek heeft veel mooie art。helaas is een groot gedeelte van de art screenshots uit de games。Ook vreemd dat er geen kaart te vinden van de wereld （het boek heet the WORLD of the Witcher）。Als je de games hebt gespeeld en de boeken hebt gelezen heeft dit boek geen toegevoegde waarde qua inhoud。Een teleurstelling。

Snad každý už o Zaklínači slyšel， ať už jde o knížky， seriál či úspěšnou videoherní sérii。 Tomu poslednímu se věnuje právě Zaklínač a jeho světy。 S textem se tu opravdu nešetřilo a tak se čtenáři dostane spousty zajímavých informací， popisů a detailů， které mohl přehlédnout nebo mu mohly ujít。 Vše je doplněno o úžasné ilustrace a snímky ze hry， od kterých je těžké odtrhnout zrak。 Já jsem byla nejvíc nadšená z kapitoly o monstrech， která je pro mě nejlepší z celé knížky - Topivci， Strigy nebo tře Snad každý už o Zaklínači slyšel， ať už jde o knížky， seriál či úspěšnou videoherní sérii。 Tomu poslednímu se věnuje právě Zaklínač a jeho světy。 S textem se tu opravdu nešetřilo a tak se čtenáři dostane spousty zajímavých informací， popisů a detailů， které mohl přehlédnout nebo mu mohly ujít。 Vše je doplněno o úžasné ilustrace a snímky ze hry， od kterých je těžké odtrhnout zrak。 Já jsem byla nejvíc nadšená z kapitoly o monstrech， která je pro mě nejlepší z celé knížky - Topivci， Strigy nebo třeba má oblíbená Potracenka。 Spousta zajímavých informací， kde se tato monstra vyskytuji a jak je také porazit。 Za zmínku stojí i celá kapitola o Zaklínačích， kde máme od toho jak se zaklínačem stát， přes zbroje a meče， po to， co vše musí Zaklínači ovládat。Na konci je celý příběh Geralta z Rivie， který jsem přeskočila。 Nedočetla jsem knížky a ani nedohrála hru a chci si ušetřit některé spoilery。 Ve zbytku kapitol se moc spoilerů nenachází， a pokud vám vyzrazení nějakých věcí nevadí， tak bych se nebála po knížce sáhnut。 Samo mi to potvrdilo， že pro tuhle knížku nemusíte být hardcore zaklínač fanoušek a znát všechny věci nazpaměť。Za mě naprosto skvělé， ať už jste dlouhodobý fanoušek nebo jste se k zaklínači dostali teprve teď。 Zajímavé informace a úžasné ilustrace vás donutí se ke knížce vracet i po přečtení。 Osobně jsem velmi spokojená a mohu jen doporučit。 。。。more

Opravdu nádherná kniha。 Nutnost pro všechny fanoušky Zaklínače。 Nejprve jsem měl strach， že se kniha bude až moc upínat na hru， ale po přečtení jsem zjistil， že tomu tak není a byl jsem rád， že jsem si knihu pořídil a přečetl。 Obsahuje plno obrázků jak ze hry tak artworku a kreseb。 Je nádherně zpracovaná。 Opravdu všem doporučuji。

I absolutely love this book！ The art is stunning。 For note there is art from W1 through to W3 so some people may find W1 art less ‘pretty’ -no problem for me though。 Also I really love Dandelion as the main narrator however there is also a few other characters here and there。 Just a cool little thing to do that for fans that is icing on the cake。 Physically the book is quite large， the hardcover and paper is really good quality as well。

Beautiful illustrations throughout this book。 While the information wasn’t that new to someone whose familiar with the games/books， the illustrations were just wonderful。 Honestly， I could have just had the pictures and I would have been a happy customer。 I will say that if you’re looking for the text primarily， then it will definitely fall a little short。 There are easier ways of learning about the world than starting here。

A fantastic addition to any witcher fan's library。 Divided into six chapters， this book provides insight into world history， the witchers， magic/religion， monsters/non-humans， and Geralt's individual story。 Far from just being a catalogue of information already found in the novels and games though， each chapter's strength is in its narrator: Villentretenmerth， Vesemir， Yennefer， Geralt， and Dandelion respectively， with Dandelion also providing small prefaces to each。 The choice to highlight the A fantastic addition to any witcher fan's library。 Divided into six chapters， this book provides insight into world history， the witchers， magic/religion， monsters/non-humans， and Geralt's individual story。 Far from just being a catalogue of information already found in the novels and games though， each chapter's strength is in its narrator: Villentretenmerth， Vesemir， Yennefer， Geralt， and Dandelion respectively， with Dandelion also providing small prefaces to each。 The choice to highlight the character most suited to discuss each topic was an excellent one， as it adds humor and perspective to what might have otherwise been just a bland summary of known events。 Whether it's Vesemir's distinct pride in his craft or the endless reminders of Dandelion's own self-worth， I felt like I was indeed reading a treatise by each of them。 Even Yennefer， a character I don't personally enjoy， actually endeared herself to me here。 Factor in the numerous excerpts from folk tales， dissertations， and the like that may either compliment or outright contradict our narrator （demonstrating the difference between the informed and the ignorant that so often feeds the themes of the Witcher universe）， and you've got a compelling read that gives a little something to even the most die-hard fans。 Of course， the second part to this book is the artwork itself which is， in a word， stunning。 If you're at all a fan of concept art or just good illustrations for your stories， you can't go wrong with this compendium。 。。。more
